Case Study: A Multilingual Website for HM Pinturas Algarve

A painting and thermal insulation company in the western Algarve needed a website that reflected the quality of its work and spoke the language of every client. This is how we built it.

The client

H.M. Pinturas works in the Algarve, in the municipalities of Lagoa, Silves and Portimão, on interior and exterior painting, renovations and external thermal insulation with the Capoto (ETICS) system. It is a hands-on business: clients want to see finished work, check that the company is reliable and request a quote without hassle.

The challenge

Before the project, the company's online presence did not match the quality of its work on site. For a local service business that has a direct cost: someone searching for a painter in Lagoa compares two or three companies in a few minutes and picks the one that inspires the most confidence.

The market also had a particular feature: in the Algarve, a significant share of villa owners are foreign residents. A Portuguese-only website left that audience out.

The goals were defined as:

  • Build trust from the very first screen, with real work rather than stock photos.
  • Speak to Portuguese and foreign clients in their own language.
  • Turn visits into qualified quote requests.
  • Show up in local searches for the municipalities the company covers.

The solution

We built a custom website in Next.js, fast and fully responsive, available in Portuguese, English, German and French. Each version has its own URLs and metadata, so Google shows the right language to each person.

One page per service

Instead of a single "Services" page with everything mixed together, each service has its own dedicated page: interior painting, exterior painting, renovations and Capoto insulation. This helps visitors, who find the answer straight away, and it helps SEO, because each page can rank for that specific search.

Visual proof: before and after

In a painting business, the best argument is the result. We created a gallery of real projects with a before/after comparison that shows the transformation instantly and credibly.

Removing objections

Guarantees, FAQs and a clear process answer the questions that usually delay a decision: how long it takes, which materials are used, what happens if there is a problem. The fewer questions left unanswered, the easier it is to ask for a quote.

A simple quote form

The form asks only for what the company needs to reply with an estimate. Every extra field is another reason for the visitor to give up.

Local SEO and blog

The website was optimised for local SEO in the Algarve: heading structure, structured data, service pages and references to the municipalities the company covers. It also includes a blog to answer the questions clients ask before hiring.

What this project teaches other local businesses

  • Show real work. Photos of your own projects are worth more than any copy.
  • Speak your client's language. In the Algarve, a multilingual website is not a luxury; it reaches people who are already looking for your services.
  • One page per service. Better for visitors and better for Google.
  • Make contact easy. A visible quote button on every page and a short form.
